Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium (EALS)

Give Now

The Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium (EALS) is held each year at American University. Since 2008, we have brought in leading figures in the art world to speak at our nationally recognized symposium to inspire the arts leaders of tomorrow through a keynote speaker, panels, workshops, networking, and more. EALS provides a unique space where emerging leaders share ideas and perspectives that inspire them to return to their respective organizations energized and ready to do meaningful work.

Our 16th annual symposium is on March 26, 2023, at the Katzen Arts Center titled Arts Engage.

We seek to grow as a forum of future arts leaders and increase our accessibility by lowering the cost of attendance for emerging arts professionals and AU students. EALS is run entirely by American University graduate students, and we can’t do this without your help! Your support will help us reach more emerging arts leaders while continuing to provide excellent and diverse programming with experts from around the country. Most importantly, your gift can help us strengthen the arts community by providing a platform to train and inspire the arts leaders of tomorrow and creating a stronger network of arts professionals.

Join the match! All donations up to $1,000 will be matched by a generous Anonymous Angel donor.
By donating and sharing our online campaign through Giving Tuesday (November 29th) you’ll double the impact. You can see our progress towards reaching our generous match below!
